Well, here we are...the end of my Indonesian cycle tour around Lombok. In the last two days of the trip, I attempt to cycle from Kuta, along the "tail" of Lombok to Desert Point, before home to Senggigi the next day. Day 5 is the biggest day I've had on the road so far and as I close in on home, I reflect on what I've learned along the way and explain why this journey was so special, for a multitude of reasons.
